Indian Rock Park is a City of Berkeley park in the Northbrae area. The city describes natural rock formations, bouldering, and views across the Bay. The setting is compact and urban, which makes consideration for neighbors and other park users especially visible.
Small does not mean supervised
A short outdoor problem can still have consequential falls. Pads are not a substitute for assessing the landing and understanding outdoor movement. If you are new to outdoor bouldering, learn from qualified instruction and make the first visit about observation and appropriate choices. You do not need to climb the tallest feature to have a worthwhile session.
